"My favorite is consulting companies and I LOve designing SPACES. I've been drawing out ideas since I was a child. My lifelong visual merchandising work revolved around designing and redesigning the floorspace of department and dept-type stores. Carving out a perfect layout to showcase specific merchandise that I decided to promote was my daily work. Never told what to do, it's just with what I busied myself. After a quick rough-draft sketch, pulling together a carpet or rug, ottoman or seating, mannequins or platform was fun enough, but my real joy came from making new aisles where there hadn't been, focal points to pull departments together and make fine flow from one section to another, one floor upon the other. Making everything cohesive and look good enough to spark sales to a gain of my standard 30%I coupled with creativity to bring innovation and relevance every day. My intensive and particular school defined "Fashion" as "Anything attempting to be sold to the majority of the people at any given time." I took it to mean cross-industry and took it further upon myself to always and continually educate myself on all industries, anything and everything. I've had so much fun this way.
